Review
I devoured this book because the plot was good, the characters were good, and the pacing was good. I could not put it down and even after I finished it, I was still thinking about it. This is my first book by Lucy Foley and it definitely did not disappoint, so it's safe to say that I will be reading more from Foley in the future. The thing I enjoyed the most about The Paris Apartment was the multiple POVs. I think that by showing each character's POV, it really added to the suspense because it gave an in-depth look as why each character might have a motive to want Ben gone. The pace of the book was perfect, it was fast-paced with each page keeping you on the edge of your seat. From page one the reader is pulled into the story and from there on out there isn't a dull moment.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed The Paris Apartment and highly recommend it, especially for spooky season!

The plot twist was so good! The way that Foley sets up the idea of Jaques always being away on business so you don't realize that he's dead. Also, Ben really had some kind of sexual encounter with three of the Meuniers, props to him I guess haha. The other plot twist of Mimi being the Concierge's granddaughter was shocking. I was a little confused if the Concierge knew that Mimi was her granddaughter. I felt so bad for Sophie because she was taken advantage of by Jacques when she was only nineteen. It's safe to say that everyone was glad that Jaques was killed.
