Review

I absolutely adored Wild Eyes !! This is how to you write a single dad romance. The way they yearn for each other  was so good.  I read this book in one sitting because that's how good it was, I just couldn't get enough of it. Skylar and West were such an adorable couple in every way. Their first meeting was something straight out of a Hallmark movie. I really loved reading about these two falling in love.

Skylar was an interesting character because from the beginning, she was trying to keep up her country star persona even though she was trying to get away from exactly that. Her life and career had been controlled by her father who was also her manager, because of this she didn't know who she was and what she really wanted in life. Her sense of self was non-existent and she was lost. Skylar had a lot of character growth throughout the book. I really enjoyed seeing her journey of self-discovery, I think it's relatable for a lot of people in their 20's.

West, the man that you are. Do MMCs get any better than West? He was a loving and caring single dad who loved his kids with all his heart. He was so understanding and patient with Skylar as she was on her journey to self-discovery. Everyone needs a West in their life.

Overall, I liked this book a lot more than the first book. I 100% recommend reading Wild Eyes you will not regret it!
