Review

I just want to say that there are some plot holes, however I think that they're quite minor, so it doesn't affect the plot that much or take away from the enjoyment of the book.

This was probably the best thriller I've read in a long time. It took so many unexpected twists and turns. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, the book took another twist that I didn't see coming. A lot of the other thriller books that I've read didn't have me as invested as Rock Paper Scissors did. I finished reading it in about three hours, with other thrillers, it took me maybe two days to finish because they just weren't as gripping. The first line in the summary of Rock Paper Scissors is more than enough to get you interested.

I absolutely adored Feeney's writing style. The way she writes just makes you feel like you're there in there book. I find with a lot of authors, they tend to be over descriptive and add a lot of irrelevant details just to reach a certain word count. However, in Feeney's case, she only includes descriptions and details that are key to the plot. I never felt like there was any "word vomit", everything flowed well.

I overall, I highly recommend Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney. It's a very fast and easy read, great for if you're in a reading slump.

SPOILER SECTION BEGINS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

I was shook when it was revealed that Amelia was not the wife who wrote the letters, but the mistress mentioned in the letters. That plot twist was the one that kept all the other plot twist going. I thought the letters were written by Amelia, which was why I thought that she got Henry Winter to let Adam work with him through a friend of a friend or something, because Amelia was an orphan. But since the letters are written by Robin, that's when it made sense how she was easily able to convince Henry, because she's his daughter. I'm still a bit confused about whether or not Adam was in on Robin's plan because he said that he had something in store for Amelia, so was he in on it? Also,  Robin and Adam getting back together after presumably killing Ameila, makes me think that he was in on it to some extent.
